Word is that the Wachowski brothers have written a draft screenplay for the V for Vendetta movie. This screenplay follows the graphic novel very closely. They began writing this screenplay before working on their upcoming film The Matrix. The Wachowskis have been huge fans of the graphic novel for years now. I can only assume that they'll respect the storyline.
